Communications for fund raising is an integral part of the development process. Campaign Strategic Planning

Providing overview and support for the process of conducting a campaign. Our primary focus is working with trustees and chief executives on feasibility, scope, message, goals, and reaching the decision to launch. We often also advise on selecting full-service campaign consultants who will help establish procedures and administration for research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship including budget, timeframes, and staffing.

Communications Planning

Analyzing your messages and the potential vehicles to get them across to key constituencies. Not only via the traditional newsletters, brochures, and direct-mail appeals, but also through desktop publishing, video, worldwide web, face-to-face meetings, conferences, and special events. We prepare communication audits and action plans complete with recommended format, content, frequency, budget, and analysis of appropriate messages for targeted audiences.

Staff Motivation and Training

Evaluating your staff structure and skills. Assessing in-house versus out-sourcing research, writing, and design. Workshops and editorial review to ensure creative ways to engage your constituencies.

Key Communications Vehicles

Writing case statements, concept papers, gift planning brochures, newsletter articles, admissions materials, direct mail appeals, or annual reports. Videos, CD-Roms, Web site creation, laptop presentations. Supervision of design and art to create a unified effect.
